Version history

Every published version of the agreement — the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, which are the two documents you accept when you create an account. Where a change materially affects you we tell you before it takes effect, and ask you to accept again.

1. Version 1.1221 September 2026 (late night)

   Privacy Policy: section 3 now covers the suggested steps you set aside with Not now - which step it was and when it comes back, nothing else, deleted with your account. The Terms of Service are unchanged.

2. Version 1.1121 September 2026 (night)

   Privacy Policy: section 3 now covers capabilities you tell us you want to grow - their names and kind, with no level until Montrus measures them. You can remove them, and they are deleted with your account. The Terms of Service are unchanged.

3. Version 1.1021 September 2026 (evening)

   Privacy Policy: section 3 now covers telling your Mentor about your work instead of giving a CV. That conversation is kept with your other Mentor conversations, and only what you choose to add becomes your career history. The Terms of Service are unchanged.

4. Version 1.921 September 2026 (later)

   Privacy Policy: section 3 now says what happens when you give us a CV or a LinkedIn profile. We read it once to suggest your roles, courses and certificates and the capabilities they built; only what you choose to add is kept, as your career history, with those capabilities marked as claimed until they are measured. We still do not keep the file, or the text you paste. The Terms of Service are unchanged.

5. Version 1.821 September 2026

   Privacy Policy: section 3 now lists your roles - the roles you tell us you have held, with the dates you give and the kind of experience - kept as the career history on your passport. Changing your role keeps the previous one instead of replacing it. Nothing new is shared with anyone. The Terms of Service are unchanged.

6. Version 1.720 September 2026

   Privacy Policy: we now publish the period after which an unused account is deleted. An account nobody has signed into for 24 months is removed, starting 7 November 2026, and we email you 30 days before - signing in is enough to stop it and start the clock again. Section 11 previously said we did not yet do this and promised to publish the period here before it applied; this is that. The policy also now describes the daily reminder email: it is sent only if you switch it on, only on the days you choose, and only when something in your plan is actually waiting - and never if you have already been in Montrus that day. Every one carries a link that switches it off without touching any other preference. The Terms of Service are unchanged.

7. Version 1.619 September 2026

   Privacy Policy: if you ask Help a question about your workplace, the answer comes only from documents your organisation published; otherwise Help names your HR contact, or - if you choose - sends the question to your organisation's administrators, who then see it and your name. Montrus does not answer or read workplace questions. The Terms of Service are unchanged.

8. Version 1.519 September 2026

   Privacy Policy and Terms: you can now contact support from Help in the product. We keep your requests for 24 months after they close, and a request about your rights or a security report for 5 years, as evidence we met our obligation to you - without your name or email once your account is deleted. What you send support is never shown to your employer. Support hours are Sunday to Thursday, 09:00-17:00 (GMT+3), and reply times are targets, not a contract. The table also now lists a period we were already applying but had not published: a half-finished organisation setup is deleted 30 days after its last change.

9. Version 1.429 August 2026

   All documents: the contact addresses now reach a mailbox that exists. The montrus.ai addresses had not yet been created, which left the commitments made against them - including notifying a customer of a breach within 48 hours - addressed to nowhere. Nothing you agreed to has changed, and the addresses will move to montrus.ai once those mailboxes are live.

10. Version 1.322 August 2026

    Both documents: you are now asked to confirm you are 16 or older before an account can be created. The minimum age is unchanged — it has been 16 since the first version — and this is a declaration rather than proof of age: we do not ask for identity documents and we do not store a date of birth.

11. Version 1.222 August 2026

    Privacy Policy: published retention periods. From 21 September 2026 the byproducts of using Montrus — usage counters, analytics events, wellbeing conversations and access logs — are deleted automatically once they pass the periods now listed in section 11. What you make is still never deleted on a timer. The Terms of Service are unchanged.

12. Version 1.122 August 2026

    Privacy Policy corrected: the talent signal is off unless an employer turns it on, and an administrator can turn it off. The Terms of Service are unchanged — the version moves with the agreement, which is both documents together.
